Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

Part of what makes our religion so different is our founder; He didn't claim to be a prophet or a Holy Man; He made the proclamation, truly I tell you (the phrasing we use as Jews to mean this is not a metaphor but literal what I am about to say) that He is indeed the Son of God and no one will be going to Heaven without Him. Now, this doesn't mean as Catholics (I will only speak for my denomination), we get to judge where someone else is going; that is the Lord and the Lord's alone.

To quote one of our best apologists Gilbert K. Chesterton, "Christ made the bold proclamation He is God and either was telling the truth or was insane, there is no middle ground here."

We who follow Christ make that choice daily to believe He was telling the Truth and care little for how that makes others feel, but we watch how we treat you in kind. Christ said they would know you by your love.

Good Conversation.
