In fact, without relics like this one, children will grow up in a world where they falsely believe progress is an instant binary on or off switch and not the slow march forward that it is, the truth being it takes time to correctly right deep societal wrongs. Hiding the truth from them will only make it harder to know where we came from, let alone how much progress we've made.
