I do believe that at the core of this issue is how we at the same time, take into account both sides without silencing the other until the truth has been ascertained and justice is served.

No good person wants someone to get away with this, just as no good person wants to see an innocent person accused and their lives destroyed, if untrue.

The sentiment we all know to be the most destructive is always believing (insert group here) and thus, anyone who seeks to even explore the reality that things might not be as black & white as they were originally presented to us, is automatically condemned themselves, thus effectively making finding the truth a scary thing.

As long as we all agree to be adults here and care more about finding the truth, than taking our own personal hurts out on one another, we will eventually find the truth, and justice will more often be able to be served, after all, isn't that the real goal?
