I certainly didn't hate it, some made it seem to be a truly unlikable film, which my sister and I did not feel that it was, but I did feel its narrative scope was wasted.

When I think of Buzz Lightyear I think of some star-faring adventure spanning many alien worlds, starship dogfights, and of course, Buzz being the leader we wish we had and or could be, what the heck did we get?

This really strange static one-planet adventure with light time travel mechanics with an almost nonexistent cast, I can't stress how wasted this whole thing felt, it's animation, and your imagination is sort of the upper limit within reason, so you choose to make it about someone who is already a hero becoming a hero?

If I ever need to show someone by what I meant when I say a 7 out of 10 movie, I'd show them this one, it has a lot of heart, but man oh man did they really drop the ball on what it could've been!
